This special day is an opportunity to recognize the unique learning needs of HIGHLY CAPABLE STUDENTS, as well as a day to celebrate the vast potential they possess. Special events are planned at the Capitol in Olympia and families are invited to attend. Guest speakers (legislators and sometimes even the governor) address the group on issues facing highly capable students. Families get an opportunity to meet with legislators, tour, see government in action, and connect with others interested in meeting the needs of HIGHLY CAPABLE LEARNERS.
Our group will meet at 10am in the Columbia Room.
Parking is limited, so we encourage you to carpool and allow extra time to find a spot around the Capitol Campus.
